Construction Industry Awards


Future of Food was the theme for this Awards lunch designed and delivered by Bubble Food, for a client in the construction industry. The futuristic concept permeated the venue, lighting, furniture, table settings, service, and the food itself. 

The innovative starter course set the scene for the courses to follow.

The theme of innovation was further extended by the creative combining of contemporary tableware from Jones Hire. This included chinaware from the minimalistic Fine Dining range, the graceful line of Elipse Wedgwood cutlery, and crystal glassware from the Pure range. Napoléon Ice chairs in clear acrylic with chenille covers, under the space-age lighting, added a contemporary twist to a classic design.

Awards Lunch Menu

Starter 

A vacuum-packed salad paysanne and dehydrated bacon strips, served on a Virtu Charger Plate. 

Main

Beef fillet, red sauce, a 'Martian' chip, carrot Wasabi and black garlic ketchup in a food tube served on the Square Plate from the Fine Dining range. The vegetarian option included Kudzu gnocchi, kale, morels, parmesan cream and crispy sage.

Dessert 

A jewelled mango yoghurt and pistachio kulfi bowl hidden under a white sugar sheet, topped with mint granita presented on the Gourmet Risotto Bowl from the Fine Dining Range
