Operational Policy

Our priority at Jones Hire is to continue providing the highest level of service our clients have come to expect, whilst observing Government guidelines and best practice to protect our customers and colleagues. Here is a summary of the key points of our current operational policy:

  • Our employees are only coming on to our premises if they are in good health and have not knowingly been in contact with anyone exposed to Covid-19. We respectfully ask that our customers do the same
  • We have implemented strict procedures for our offices, stores and vehicles with regard to cleaning, systematic hand-washing and sanitising
  • All our employees are wearing PPE including masks and gloves for deliveries and collections, washing and packing. They will be observing safe distancing at all times, and we would be grateful for your cooperation in enabling them to do that
  • Instead of asking for a written signature, Jones personnel will request of the customer their full name, and the employee will sign on the customer's behalf
  • Our products have always been washed and stored to the highest standards of hygiene, but in the current circumstances we understand that an additional degree of caution can be welcome. Therefore we are generally delivering three days before you require the products, and collecting three days after you have finished with them, to reduce the risk of potential surface contamination to the absolute minimum. We understand that not everyone will have the storage space for this to happen, in which case please call us and we will work out an acceptable alternative for you.
